What this key finder is (and what it isn't)
This tool finds the musical key and tempo of recorded music. It is not a Bluetooth tracker for lost car keys, and it does not recover Windows or Microsoft Office product keys — different categories, different tools, different pages.

Will my audio file be uploaded to your server?
When you drop a file, analysis runs in your browser — the file does not leave your device. When you paste a YouTube, SoundCloud, or audio URL, our server fetches that audio for analysis and discards it once the key and BPM are returned.

How accurate is the result compared to Mixed In Key or Rekordbox?
We do not claim parity with those tools — they have years of paid R&D behind their key detection. Our analyzer uses a published open algorithm and flags low-confidence results, so you know when a second opinion is worth pulling.

Is this tool for music, or for finding lost car keys?
Music only. This page detects the musical key (such as F♯ minor) and tempo in BPM of recorded songs. For Bluetooth key trackers, AirTags, or Windows product-key recovery utilities, you want a different category of tool entirely.
